Albal
The most notable celebrations are the Festival of San Blas, the patron saint of the town, on the 3rd of February, characterised by the pilgrimage to the local hermitage amongst other traditional events and activities; the main festival in the town is in honour of Santa Ana on the 26th to the 28th of July. The town also participates in "las Fallas" of Valencia (see description below) with the commissioning of seven "Fallas" statues around the municipality. Albal also celebrates the festivals of San Antonio Abad in January and San Roque in August. There are also numerous neighbourhood and street festivals most notably those of San Antonio and San Vicente, celebrated by the neighbours of the streets named after these saints.

A city enamoured of festivals and popular celebrations. Like any good Mediterranean city, Valencia preserves age-old traditions, customs and festivals and integrates perfectly into the present day. This city has been famous since the XV and XVI centuries for the plurality and popularity for its series of diverse festivals that celebrated throughout the year.
The extrovert character and the boisterous nature of the Valencians is reflected in both the religious and secular festivals, which are largely celebrated outdoors and which combine ritual, ingenuity, gunpowder, music and fire. Most notable in this festival calendar are the festivals of "las Fallas", Holy Week, the "Virgen de los Desamparados", Corpus Christi, the July Fair and the celebration of the 9th of October.
The warm temperatures, the gastronomic wealth and the spectacular festivals invite visitors to immerse themselves in the social and celebratory explosion born out of each and every one of Valencia's festivals.
